I had the pleasure of being a vendor at Muddy Paws Spring Festival; a beautiful non-profit farm that houses the cutest rescue animals! [Link HERE]. While it was a great day socially, for Hopeful Stitches, I'll be honest, it wasn't the best day for sales. As a small business owner, it's easy to summarize a day of few sales as being, 'unsuccessful'.
However, "success" is simply defined as, "the accomplishment [achievement] of an aim or purpose". There is no implication about how large ...or small... the purpose is.
My goal [purpose] was to sew many Cali-Bags, more than ever, make improvements to my 10x10 vendor display, and get a good trial-run before my next vendor event. I did all three of those things; sewed 68 Cali-Bags, redesigned my display and loved the outcome!
Let's be mindful to count our blessings, even on days when we have seemingly as many defeats.
